Lane Closures Scheduled for I-435 at Bannister Rd. for Bridge Work Beginning March 15

JACKSON COUNTY– MoDOT Kansas City is in the process of bridge repairs along Bannister Rd. (Route W) over I-435. In addition to this bridge work, crews will have various overnight lane closures along both northbound and southbound I-435 beneath Bannister Rd. beginning on Monday, March 15, until Friday, April 2, from 8 p.m. each evening until 6 a.m. the following mornings. There may be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Please be patient and considerate to your fellow motorists. Use the zipper merge and take turns at merge points.  Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE ZONES. Buckle up. Phone down. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
