SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during an electronic ballot process held on March 3. Awarded contracts include a bridge replacement, sidewalk improvements and striping.
Contracts include the following:
- A $454,999 contract was awarded to RL Persons Construction, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route A over Small Creek in Wayne County. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
- A $1,476,124 contract was awarded to Lappe Cement Finishing, Inc., for sidewalk improvements at various locations within the following towns in Missouri:
- Bertrand
- East Prairie
- Charleston
- Dexter
- Malden
- Catron
- A $1,497,751 contract was awarded to STF, LLC, for striping on Routes 60 and 67 at various locations throughout the Southeast District.
