SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded two contracts for the Southeast District during an electronic ballot process held on Nov. 5. Awarded contracts included two resurfacing projects. Contracts include the following:
- A $6,773,481 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for resurfacing Interstate 55 from I-57 to Route 77 in Scott County, and;
- The $6,849,999 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC., for resurfacing Route 61 from Route OO in Ste. Genevieve County to Route 177 in Cape Girardeau County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
