Agee Creek Bridge now open on Route 48 in Andrew County

SAVANNAH, Mo. – The bridge over Agee Creek on Route 48 east of Rea in Andrew County is now open to all traffic. Contractors from Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with MoDOT, closed the 88-year-old, structurally deficient bridge on May 26 for a replacement project. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

As part of the contract, Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. will also replace the Ervins Branch Bridge on DeKalb County Route D. During the bridge replacement, Route D will close to all traffic at the bridge, which is located near Maysville. A closure date has not been determined yet for the Ervins Branch Bridge.

Please remember that all roadways are No Phone zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
