JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close various ramps and lanes in the Interstate 435 and Interstate 70 corridor as crews continue work on the I-435 and I-70 partial turbine interchange.
Below is a daily breakdown of closures connected to this project:
- Monday, July 6The ramp from northbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be closed from 8 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. tomorrow.
- Tuesday, July 7
- Southbound I-435 will be reduced to one lane from Truman Road to I-70 for sign installation from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Southbound I-435 will be reduced to one lane from Truman Road to I-70 for sign installation from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 8
- Southbound I-435 will be reduced to one lane from Truman Road to I-70 for sign installation from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Westbound I-70 will be reduced to one lane at I-435 for bridge girder installation.
- The onramps from Noland Road and 40 Highway to Westbound I-70 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Thursday, July 9
- Eastbound I-70 will be reduced to one lane at I-435 for bridge girder installation from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The onramps from Jackson Ave., Van Brunt Blvd. and 40 Highway to eastbound I-70 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Friday, July 10
- Eastbound and westbound I-70 will be reduced to one lane at I-435 for bridge construction from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All work is weather dependent.
