HANNIBAL - Route U in Pike County between Bowling Green and Frankford is closed as the Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Bleigh Construction, replace the bridge over Peno Creek. The bridge closed April 27 and will remain closed through July. A second bridge, located on the outer road of U.S. Route 61 over Gailey Branch also will be replaced starting in June. At that time, the outer road will close. It is also expected to reopen by the end of July.
