Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during an electronic ballot process held on Feb. 5. Awarded contracts include pavement improvements, bridge improvements, erosion control repairs, and conduit installation.

Contracts include the following:

  • A $6,775,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
    • Route 63 from Cleveland Road to Route U in Texas County;
    • Route 60 from east of Route J to County Road 455 in Carter and Shannon counties;
    • Route F from Route 63 to the end of state maintenance in Texas County;
    • Business 63 from south of Route 63 to north of Route 60 in Willow Springs, Missouri;
    • Business 60 from Route 63 to Route 60 in Texas County, and;
    • Business 60 from Business 63 to Route 60 in Willow Springs, Missouri.
  • A $585,942 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for erosion control repairs along Routes 60 and 67 in various counties.
  • A $578,750 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for erosion control repairs along various routes within the Southeast District.
  • A $2,905,527 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for the following bridge replacements in Pemiscot County. These bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.:
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #66 on Route CC;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #70 on Route A;
    • A bridge replacement over Main Ditch #8 on Route T;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #71 on Route A;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #84 on Route 153, and;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #4 on Route C.
  • A $1,994,330 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for the following bridge replacements. These bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.:
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #33 on Route 91 in Stoddard County;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #34 on Route 91 in Stoddard County;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #291 on Route 91 in Scott County, and;
    • A bridge replacement over Drainage Ditch #35 on Route 91 in Scott County.
  • A $8,709,119 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements to the following routes:
    • The westbound lane of Route 60 from Interstate 57 to Spring Creek in Scott County, and;
    • Route 60 from Interstate 57 to the Mississippi River bridge in Scott and Mississippi counties.
