CASS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting work near I-49 and MO Route 7 on both Thursday, Sept. 5, and Friday, Sept. 6, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each evening. Crews will be closing various on and off ramps for resurfacing work. Whatever is not finished on Thursday night will be completed the following evening. This work involves the following and is weather permitting:
- Thursday, Sept. 5
- Crews will begin by closing the southbound I-49 off ramp to MO Route 7 at 7 p.m. for pavement repairs. This ramp will be re-opened when paving work is completed.
- Next, crews will close the on ramp from MO Route 7 to southbound I-49 for resurfacing work.
- Following this resurfacing work, crews will close the off ramp from northbound I-49 to MO Route 7 for resurfacing work.
- If time allows, crews will then close the on ramp from MO Route 7 to northbound I-49 for resurfacing work.
- Friday, Sept. 6
- Crews will close the southbound I-49 off ramp to MO Route 7 at 7 p.m. for milling and resurfacing work. The ramp will be re-opened when paving work is completed.
- Next, crews will close the one ramp from MO Route 7 to northbound I-49 for resurfacing work.
