Route 65 Widening/Evans Road Bridge Projects Week of September 9 -- FINAL PROJECT UPDATE

Work Scheduled:
- Grading shoulders
- Removing heavy equipment
- General cleanup work
Traffic Impacts:
- Equipment moving in and out of work areas
- All new lanes of Route 65 OPEN between a point south of Evans Road and Christian County Route CC/J in Ozark
- All bridges open to traffic
- Southbound Route 65 right lane becomes EXIT ONLY lane to Christian County Route CC/J
(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.)
Here’s a look at the Route 65/Evans Road Bridge project:
- Widen Route 65 to six lanes, three lanes in each direction, between a point south of Evans Road and Christian County Routes CC/J to continue the progress to six lane Route 65 south to Ozark
- Widen and rehabilitate southbound Route 65 bridge over Farmer Branch south of Evans Road to accommodate new lanes
- Rehabilitate Evans Road bridge over Route 65 — COMPLETE
- Prime contractor: Millstone Weber, LLC of St. Charles
- Estimated total project cost: $10.2 million
