JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City has added some construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work involves various lane CLOSURES and a rolling slowdown. It will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
- The left lane of northbound I-435 from Raytown Rd. to Stadium Dr. will be CLOSED for guardrail and overhead truss work beginning on Monday, July 29, through Wednesday, July 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
- The left lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Dr. to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction beginning on Monday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
- NEW: There will be a rolling slowdown in all directions along both I-70 and I-435 on both Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, Aug 1, at 7 p.m. These rolling slowdowns should only last about five minutes.
