REMINDER: MoDOT Reminds Motorists that Left Turns Are Restricted on Main Street Bridge Project

GRANDVIEW –  Missouri Department of Transportation reminds Grandview motorists that under the current construction configuration, left turns from Main Street to outer roads are NOT allowed on the Main Street Bridge project.

Multiple signs in the work zone warn motorists of the no left turn option. Local law enforcement WILL issue tickets for making illegal traffic movements.

The project to replace the Main Street Bridge began in March and is scheduled to last through December. Learn more about this project on our website.

The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
