CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation in partnership with the Cities of Liberty and Kansas City, MO. will hold an informational public meeting to discuss the upcoming project of replacing the Route 152 Bridge over I-35, in which construction will take approximately four months. There will be interchange improvements to Kansas Street and Route 291 which includes adding lanes, intersection and pedestrian improvements on Kansas Street between I-35 and Route 291. This project is slated to begin in the spring of 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2020.
This informal meeting will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Liberty Community Center, located at 1600 S. Withers Rd., in Liberty, MO. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about this project and ask any questions they may have.
