MoDOT to Close U.S. Route 50 Ramp to Eastbound I-44 Overnight Next Week

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who used the U.S. Route 50 ramp to access eastbound I-44 in Franklin County need to allow themselves some extra time next week. Crews will close the ramp overnight next week as part of the work to replace the eastbound I-44 bridge over Route 50.

The ramp will be closed Monday, March 26 through Wednesday, March 28 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Drivers can detour around the closure by taking Route AT to Route 100 (Washington) to I-44.  All work is weather permitting.

In addition, as part of the ongoing work drivers can expect daily, off peak lane closures through November. For more information on the project, go to http://www.modot.org/stlouis/major_projects/I44Improvements.htm.
