MoDOT KC to hold job fair at its District Office

LEE’S SUMMIT – The Missouri Department of Transportation’s Kansas City District Office will hold a job fair in an effort to hire at least 40 new full-time Highway Maintenance Workers.

The event will be held Friday, Aug. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the KC District Office, located at 600 NE Colbern Rd. in Lee’s Summit. There will be same day interviews for selected candidates. Applicants can also apply online at www.modot.org/jobs

 

MoDOT requires maintenance workers to be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED and possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Applicants must also successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.

 

The Missouri Department of Transportation offers full benefits including medical insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation/sick days and monthly salaries starting from $2,470 to $2,744, depending on the level of the position.
