Traveler Information Map

Online and mobile versions of the Traveler Information Map show snow and ice covered roadways, work zone impacts, traffic movements, incident alerts, flooding, traffic cameras and other features that help travelers plan and react to constantly changing road conditions.

One of the main features of the map and apps are the color-coded road conditions that let you know what lies on the road ahead. Conditions include clear, mostly clear, partly covered, covered and closed. Armed with this information, travelers can adjust their plans and timelines before ever leaving the safety of their driveways.

Mobile versions of the Traveler Information Map are available in the Apple Store and Google Play.

Message Boards

Already on the road? MoDOT has message boards along interstates and major routes that will give you a heads up if something’s waiting for you down the road, such as scheduled work zones, incidents affecting traffic, road condition alerts and even Amber Alerts.  If there are no major incidents or delays, the boards display whimsical safety reminders to keep you smiling no matter what the situation.
