PROJECT DETAILS
MoDOT will be improving the safety of the intersections at MO Route 7 at Stringtown Rd., and 155th St. (County Line Rd.) with the addition of left turn lanes and geometric improvements. The new turn lanes and geometric improvements at Stringtown Road and 155th Street will provide for the safe movement of traffic.
TIMELINE AND COST
This project was completed.
MoDOT plans to let the project in March 2021. Construction is anticipated to begin in May 2021 and end in fall 2021. Construction work will be done on MO 7 primarily under traffic utilizing one-lane, two-way flagger operations. Work on Stringtown Road and 155th Street will be done under short term closures.
The project construction is currently estimated to cost $1.2 million and is funded through MoDOT’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, and includes a combination of state and federal funds.
