Built in 1963, the existing Missouri Route 19 bridge over Interstate 70 is in poor condition and is in need of replacement. In 2005, a study was conducted along the Interstate 70 corridor. Since that time, updated designs have been developed to meet the current and future needs related to traffic flow for the bridge and interchange area.
