Project Overview:
A new Interstate 44 Outer Road bridge over the Gasconade River west of Hazelgreen in Laclede County included building a new bridge on a new alignment between the old Gasconade River Bridge on Historic Route 66 and the I-44 bridges across the river.
Cost:
The total cost of this project ws approximately $5 million.
Why was this work necessary?
The old bridge was built in 1927. It was closed in December of 2014 due to extensive deterioration.
