Narrative Description:

The bridge is a single span steel Pratt half-hip pony truss approximately 20 long, and 19 ft wide, with a concrete deck and massive stone abutments. The Bridge is under contract to be removed and stored at the County Maintenance Yard called the “Quarry” location. The bridge is locally significant as it is an intact example of a structural type that was once common, particularly for short spans.

Jackson County is now taking proposals for the relocation and reuse of the structure until, June 30, 2019. Any proposal must meet the State Historic Preservation Office guidelines and be approved by both Jackson County and the SHPO.
