NE Project Prom-Graduation Grant
The Northeast Coalition for Roadway Safety is offering grant funding to local high schools that hold student lock-in events for Project Prom or High School Graduation. Schools must include a presentation or activity educating students on roadway safety issues within their night’s agenda. Activities/presentations can also be held the week of the event. Qualifying schools will receive $200 each to assist with event expenses such as venue rental, food or entertainment. High school must be located in the Northeast district of MoDOT, within the counties of Adair, Audrain, Clark Knox, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby or Warren to be eligible for funding. Schools that are awarded grants may receive traffic safety education/promotional items. The NE Coalition is accepting grant applications January 2 - February 15, 2024.
