SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on June 11. Awarded contracts include resurfacing and intersection improvements.
Contracts include the following:
- A $2,720,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., to resurface and add shoulders on Route 19 from Riverview Drive in Eminence, Mo. to north of Route 60 in Winona, Mo. in Shannon County.
- A $1,315,647 contract was awarded to Pavement Solutions, LLC., to construct a J-Turn intersection on Route 67 at New Perrine Road in Farmington, Mo. in St. Francois County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
Work zones will be marked with signs as work is underway. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling in these areas and plan for possible delays. MoDOT will alert drivers prior to any changes in traffic.
