Northwest Missouri Flooding Information, Closures and Detours

In March 2019, flooding caused many roads across Northwest Missouri to close. Roadways and local communities were heavily damaged by swift, rising floodwaters. Though the water has receded, as it went down it exposed extreme damage to road surfaces across the region. Though repairs have been made to many routes, some damage remains and roads are still closed, especially in Atchison and Holt counties.

The online Traveler Information Map shows not only the roads closed due to flood damage, it also displays current road work, planned road work, long-term construction projects, real-time traffic, traffic cameras and more.
