Interstate 29 Detour Information
I-35 and I-80
The Interstate 29 closure at the Missouri/Iowa border has been extended further south to the U.S. 71 intersection north of St. Joseph (MM57) due to flooding. Previously, I-29 had been closed at Rock Port (MM110). Use I-35 in Missouri and Iowa and I-80 in Iowa as an alternate route.
Missouri River Crossings CLOSED
The following Missouri River crossings are currently closed:
- U.S. Route 59 from Rushville to Atchison, KS
- U.S. Route 159 from Big Lake to Rulo, NE
- U.S. Route 136 from Rock Port to Brownville, NE
