St. Louis Work Zones for October 18-24

 

ST. LOUIS – People in North St. Louis County this weekend should be aware of some work around I-270 and Route 370 which may delay traffic.

Crews will close two lanes on northbound and southbound I-270 at Route 370 starting at 8 p.m. Friday, October 19. They may have either the right two or left two lanes closed for the project, which will be placing an overlay on the roadway. In addition, crews will close the ramp from Missouri Bottom to southbound I-270 at 8 p.m. All lanes and ramps will be reopened by 4 a.m. Monday, October 22.

Drivers heading into downtown should be aware of a daily ramp closure.  Crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-64 to 6th Street for safety daily between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. as they work on the Broadway ramp to westbound I-64 overhead. Drivers should use 11th Street or 14th Street to exit into downtown while the 6th Street ramp is closed.

This weekend, several ramps and roadways will be closed Sunday, October 21, between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. for the Go! Halloween Marathon. Interstate ramps on I-64, I-44 and I-55 will be closed, as well as sections of Page, Chouteau and Gravois.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury until December 2018.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the eastbound exit to Vandeventer is closed until early 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Jefferson and Grand through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound between Grand and Kingshighway through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Kingshighway and Arsenal through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound from Shrewsbury to Jefferson through 2019.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, two right lanes closed westbound across the Poplar Street Bridge into Illinois mid-November. The ramp from northbound Illinois Route 3 to westbound will also be closed. . 
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from Broadway onto westbound I-64 will be closed from October 15 until mid-December. Due to this work, the ramp from eastbound I-64 to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Route 367, St. Louis City, the west half of Halls Ferry Circle will be closed through early December. Southbound traffic will only be able to stay on southbound Route 367.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed until December 2018.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles starting thru late 2021.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, the eastbound ramp to Lucas-Hunt is closed until early November.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from T.R. Hughes to westbound I-70 is closed until the new ramp opens in late 2018.
  • Route 61, St. Charles County, access from Route P to southbound is closed through December
  • Route 47, Franklin County, one lane closed southbound on the Washington side of the bridge through the end of October.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound on the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to three lanes closed across the Poplar Street Bridge.  One lane will be closed on the ramp from eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 as well.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the ramp from eastbound to 6th Street (last Missouri Exit) will be closed. Drivers should use the 11th Street or 14th Street exits.
