St. Louis Work Zones July 3-9

ST. LOUIS—-- To reduce congestion and ease travel leading up to and during the Independence Day holiday, MoDOT will suspend most work on interstates and state highways, starting Thursday, July 3 at 12 p.m.

Traffic will still be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers, such as near I-64 between Route K and Route DD or on roadways where there are road closures. Emergency roadwork will also be performed as needed. Work on all construction projects will resume on Saturday, July 5 at 6 a.m.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, one southbound lane closed from I-44 to north of Bates and two southbound lanes closed north of Bates to north of Weber through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City and County, one northbound lane closed from north of Reavis Barracks to north of Bayless and two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Virginia to southbound is closed through December 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from southbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to southbound will be closed through December 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound is closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound is closed through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from southbound to Germania is closed through 2025.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed at westbound I-70 to overpass of westbound I-70 over northbound I-170.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, various northbound and southbound lanes narrowed between I-64 and Olive through late 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, Conway closed under I-270 through fall 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound exit ramp to Riverview Drive closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, on ramp from Riverview Drive to westbound I-270 closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, the ramp from eastbound to southbound I-170 will be closed through September.
  • Route 21, one lane northbound and southbound will be closed Musick to Tesson Creek Estates through late 2025.
  • Route 61/67, St. Louis County, closed at Deer Creek bridge.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and southbound lane closed over Coldwater Creek.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, all lanes closed northbound and southbound at Deer Creek (just south of Conway Road/German Boulevard) through early August.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound and southbound Route 67 loop ramps to Route D closed. Route D westbound and eastbound loop ramps to Route 67 closed.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Route D.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the intersection of northbound/southbound Route 109 and eastbound/westbound Route CC closed through the end of 2025.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed at I-64 through 2025.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one lane closed southbound from Cool Valley Drive to Augusta.
  • Route AC, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Maline Creek (just south of Lucas & Hunt).
  • I-64, St. Charles County, two westbound lanes closed on the Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River. One westbound lane remains on the westbound bridge and two westbound lanes shifted to the eastbound bridge through December 2025.
  • Route K, St. Charles County, ramp to eastbound I-64 closed.
  • Route MM, Franklin County, closed in both directions between Route T and Coleman Rd.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, one lane of northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, the ramp from southbound Route 67 to southbound I-55 will be closed through September 2025.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed at I-55.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, the southbound 67 to southbound I-55 loop ramp closed.
  • Route Z, Jefferson County, three middle lanes closed in the center of Route Z. All traffic is pushed to the outside lanes.
