About this Project

The project is to replace the existing asphalt shoulder with sidewalk behind the existing curb. This will benefit pedestrian traffic by providing an accessible sidewalk within the project limits. Work will take place on Missouri Route 69/ Vivion Road in Kansas City from east of Agnes Ave. on the north side of Vivion Road and east of Cleveland Ave. on the south side of Vivion Road.

Traffic Modifications

Missouri Route 69 will remain open to traffic during construction with occasional single lane drops.

Timeline

The project will be let in March 2026.

Construction starts May 2026 until approx. November 2026.

Comment Period Information

MoDOT will be hosting an online comment period starting at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 17 until 4 p.m. on Monday, July 1, regarding sidewalk and ADA improvements on Missouri Route 69/ Vivion Road in Kansas City from east of Agnes Ave. on the north side of Vivion Road and east of Cleveland Ave. on the south side of Vivion Road.
