Project Overview:
The 3.5-million project included bridge rehabilitation, resurfacing, pavement repair, shoulder repair, and guardrail upgrades along U.S. Route 54 in Jefferson City. Both directions of Route 54 will be resurfaced from the Missouri River Bridge to Stadium Boulevard. High Friction Surface Treatment was also be reinstalled on the Route 54 curves at Madison Street.
Six bridges were also rehabilitated as part of the project:
- The eastbound and westbound Route 54 bridges over Stadium Boulevard.
- The eastbound and westbound bridges over Broadway Street.
- The Madison Street Route 54 on-ramp bridge
- The ramp bridge that carries eastbound Route 50 to eastbound Route 54.
Cost:
The total approximate cost is 3.5 million.
