MoDOT Engineers worked with consulting firm HDR Engineering, Inc. to design a new bridge on Route O over the Platte River.
MoDOT acquired Right of Way needed to complete the project.
The project was let in June 2018 allowing contractors to submit competitive bids for the project.
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the contract at their July 2018 meeting. Widel, Inc. was awarded the project with a bid of $1,360,168.84.
