Route 367 to New Halls Ferry

Proposed improvements for Route 67 from Route 367 to New Halls Ferry are:

  • Resurface approximately 4 miles of mainline and shoulder pavement.
  • Upgrade existing sidewalks and curb ramps to meet ADA requirements.
  • Construct new sidewalks for connectivity from Candlewyck Club Dr. to Sunswept Park Dr., from the Walmart front entrance to the Discount Tire entrance, and in front of Chick-Fil-A.
  • Improve existing mid-block crossings with better sidewalk connections, median refuge improvements, and lighting.
  • Add new medians or extend existing medians to improve safety and calm traffic.
  • Replace existing entrances to meet ADA requirements.
  • Reconstruct traffic signals at Old Jamestown Dr. and Old Halls Ferry Rd. Improve existing signal at entrance to Flower Valley Shopping Center by adding pedestrian accommodations.
  • Replace sections of non-compliant or damaged guardrail and install additional guardrail where warranted.
  • Address drainage ponding and the resulting pavement deterioration on the north side of Lindbergh Blvd. at Old Jamestown Rd.
