Proposed improvements for Route 67 from Route 367 to New Halls Ferry are:
- Resurface approximately 4 miles of mainline and shoulder pavement.
- Upgrade existing sidewalks and curb ramps to meet ADA requirements.
- Construct new sidewalks for connectivity from Candlewyck Club Dr. to Sunswept Park Dr., from the Walmart front entrance to the Discount Tire entrance, and in front of Chick-Fil-A.
- Improve existing mid-block crossings with better sidewalk connections, median refuge improvements, and lighting.
- Add new medians or extend existing medians to improve safety and calm traffic.
- Replace existing entrances to meet ADA requirements.
- Reconstruct traffic signals at Old Jamestown Dr. and Old Halls Ferry Rd. Improve existing signal at entrance to Flower Valley Shopping Center by adding pedestrian accommodations. Remove signal at Robbins Mill Rd.
- Replace sections of non-compliant or damaged guardrail and install additional guardrail where warranted.
- Address drainage ponding and the resulting pavement deterioration on the north side of Lindbergh Blvd. at Old Jamestown Rd.
- Replace all ground mounted and affected overhead corridor signage.
