MoDOT Will Share Plan for Modifying Access and Improving Wards Creek Bridge
SIKESTON- The Missouri Department of Transportation held a public meeting to discuss modifying access at the south end of Silva. The meeting was held at New Hope General Baptist Church, located on County Road 219 in Silva, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
The meeting will have an open-house format, meaning that visitors can stop by to talk one-on-one with a member of the project team anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. No formal presentation will be given.
"During the meeting, we plan to share MoDOT's proposal for reconnection from Route 67 to County Road 219, as well as possible barrier alterations to the bridge over Wards Creek on County Road 219, just south of Route 34," said Project Manager Andy Meyer.
