Project Information
- Add lane on U.S. Route 60 in each direction between James River Freeway/Missouri Route 360 and Farm Road 103
- New signalized intersection at U.S. Route 60 and Farm Road 107 west of the current intersection
- Intersection modifications at Farm Road 164 to allow right-in/right-out only
- Access management and driveway consolidation, including removal of crossover medians

What is the project's purpose and need?
The objective of this project is to relieve traffic congestion between Farm Road 103 and James River Freeway; thus, enhancing safety while also improving traffic operations along this segment of roadway.
Will there be any road closures during construction?
Most construction will take place within or beyond the shoulder. Route 60 will remain open with two lanes during daytime hours, while nighttime work will reduce traffic to a single through lane. Farm Road 164 south of Route 60 is to remain open as-is until construction of the new signalized intersection at Farm Road 107 is complete.
Will the project affect residential or business access?
Access to properties adjacent to the project will be maintained throughout construction.
Is MoDOT purchasing property from landowners?
MoDOT will need to purchase property and/or obtain easements in order to construct the widening of Route 60 and intersection improvements. A Right-of-Way representative will contact affected landowners to begin the acquisition process. For more information on the acquisition process, please see the Pathways of Progress pamphlet.
