Project Summary
This project will address two bridges on U.S. Highway 50 eastbound in Johnson County. The eastbound bridge over Blackwater River will be rehabilitated and the eastbound bridge over Butcher Branch will be replaced. The project is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026 and be completed in Fall 2027.

What will be the traffic implications?
Traffic will be managed by a median crossover from eastbound to westbound lanes and head-to-head traffic on westbound lanes. NW 175th Rd. will be closed west of US-50 for the duration of the project.
