Districts Impacted
The intersection of U.S. Route 169 and Southeast Riverside Terrace in Buchanan County was identified as a safety-improvement project due to sight distance. In order to help improve sight distance, the Missouri Department of Transportation is planning to shift the U.S. Route 169 roadway slightly north from Summerhill Drive to just east of Southeast Riverside Terrace. This project will also realign both the north and south entrances of Southeast Riverside Terrace at the intersection of U.S. Route 169.
Project Progress
MoDOT's Planning and Design team is designing a project to realign the intersection to allow for more sight distance.
