The Callaway County Route H bridge over the Middle River is slated for rehabilitation work in 2026. Built in 1964, the supporting structure is in good condition, but the driving surface has deteriorated and needs to be replaced.

The proposed traffic control plans for construction calls for closing Route H with a signed detour throughout the bridge deck replacement.
