Project Overview
MoDOT will provide resurfacing, guardrail, and ADA improvements on Route 185 from Route AC to West Springfield Rd. and on Route D from Route WW to West Springfield Rd. The total length of improvement is 8.653 miles.
Work on ADA improvements (sidewalk & entrances) in Sullivan will begin winter 2021, as weather permits. Asphalt pavement repairs are anticipated to start in the spring of 2022 followed by the paving/resurfacing operation.

Traffic impacts are anticipated along Route 185 in Sullivan due to extensive ADA improvements through the corridor. Temporary lane closures will be used at off-peak times to perform some of the work. Motorists will be alerted to all traffic changes.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE PROJECT?
The cost is $2.2 million. The federal government is participating in the cost of construction of this project. NB West Contracting has been awarded the contract.
