Slide repair operations will take place on the south side of Missouri Route 92 near Kearney. The project is to replace the existing slope.

A section of the road needs improvements due to ground conditions. This project will take out fill material and place rock fill to stabilize this area.  Unfortunately, to do this the roadway has to be closed to remove unstable material and rebuild the pavement.

Traffic Impacts

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting slide repair operations on Missouri Route 92 eastbound and westbound resulting in a full closure between Cameron Road and Route RA/Old Quarry Road near Kearney beginning on Monday, July 7 at 5 a.m. until Friday, July 25 at 8 p.m. All work is weather permitting.

There will not be an official detour.
