Project Summary
The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to rehabilitate the Route 41 bridge over the Lamine River. A preventative maintenance treatment will be applied on the deck.

Project Progress
A project to rehabilitate the bridge is currently being designed by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
MoDOT is hosting an online public meeting for this project on this webpage. Interested parties can comment below during the three-week comment period starting Nov. 13, 2024, and ending Dec. 4, 2024. Additionally, you may send your comments to CDCR@modot.mo.gov by Dec. 4 with the subject line: Cooper County Route 41 Bridge or comments may be mailed, postmarked by Dec. 4, to Cooper County Route 41 c/o MoDOT, 1511 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO, 65109.
The project is currently scheduled to be part of MoDOT's February 2025 letting when contractors may submit competitive bids. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission may award the contract as part of their March 2025 meeting. If the contract is awarded, a notice to proceed date will also be given. That is the earliest date the contractor may begin work.
After construction begins the contractor will have 30 calendar days to complete the construction.
For the safety of crews and motorists, the bridge is expected to close during construction. A detour will be signed using Routes K and M to the West.
At this time, construction is anticipated to be completed by Dec. 1, 2025.
