Project Progress
MoDOT and consultants from OWN Inc. have designed a project which will upgrade existing pedestrian and sidewalk facilities in Bosworth, Hale, Keytesville, Mendon, Norborne, Rothville and Sumner to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). OWN Inc., working with MoDOT, contacted local residents in those three communities to obtain temporary construction easements.
This project was part of the March 2025 letting when contractors submit competitive bids to construct the project. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission considered all submitted bids at its scheduled monthly meeting in April 2025 and awarded the project to Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC.
The contractor will work with MoDOT to determine the exact schedule of work.
By contract, all work must be complete on or before Nov. 1, 2026.
