About
The project includes upgrading the existing Route 34/51 intersection to improve turning movements for tractor trailers and other larger vehicles. This will be accomplished by widening and increasing some of the radiuses at the existing intersection. The project also includes improvements to the pedestrian crossings and adding a section of sidewalk to connect to the existing pedestrian facility.
Traffic Impacts
Work to improve the Route 34/51 intersection in Marble Hill, Missouri started in July 2025.
During the first phase of construction, motorists will utilize Magnolia Street and Crown Street to bypass the work zone.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 14, 2025 through Sunday, March 1, 2026.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
