Traffic Alert: MoDOT Moves Overnight Paving Scheduled for Thursday/Friday to Next Week

JACKSON COUNTY – The overnight paving scheduled for I-435 this Thursday and Friday night has been MOVED to next week due to rain in the forecast. Schedule as follows:

Monday, April 1: Crews will CLOSE the right two lanes of eastbound I-435 from 104th Street to Blue River Bridge from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.  Crews will add new pavement behind the barrier. 

Tuesday April 2: Crews will CLOSE the left two lanes of westbound I-435 from Grandview Road to State Line from 7:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. to pour new pavement.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
