REMINDER U.S. Route 169 near Union Star closing Monday

Third Fork Platte River Bridge set to be replaced

UNION STAR, Mo. – REMINDER: contractors plan to close the Third Fork Platte River Bridge just east of Union Star on U.S. Route 169 on Monday, April 1, 2019. The bridge, built in 1931, is being replaced by contractors from Boone Construction, Co., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation. The contractor plans to reopen the bridge in July.

A signed detour will redirect motorists around the closure over Routes 48 and M.
