Road Projects Approved by Missouri Highways &

Transportation Commission at April Meeting

MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting on Tuesday, April 2 in Springfield, awarded projects to construction companies to make improvements to state bridges during 2019, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Here are the details:

  • U.S. Route 60 in Monett: Bridge Rehabilitation over Arkansas & Missouri Railroad
    • Awarded to Hartman and Company Inc., of Springfield, for a low bid of $963,000
  • Two Bridge Projects in Stone County
    • Missouri Route 248 south of Galena: Bridge Replacement over Railey Creek
    • Missouri Route 76 east of Cape Fair: Bridge Rehabilitation over Table Rock Lake (Cape Fair bridge project will not likely occur until 2020)
      • Awarded to Lehman Construction LLC, of California for low bid of $3.6 million

Construction on most of the projects will start in 2019. More information on the projects will be announced prior to the projects’ start dates.
