TRAFFIC ALERT: MoDOT Starts 13-Mile Nighttime Paving Project on I-470 Next Week
LEE’S SUMMIT – The Kansas City District of the Missouri Department of Transportation begins a 13-mile paving project along I-470 from Raytown Road to 39th Street on April 7 that will run mainly nighttime operations. Paving crews have committed to one lane open at all times and working hours are 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. All work is weather dependent.
In addition, crews will also resurface the entrance and exit ramps at Raytown Road, View High Drive, the Route 50 and Route 350 loop ramps, Douglas Street, Colbern Road, Woods Chapel Road, Lakewood Blvd./Bowlin Road, Route 40 and the I-70 ramps will be resurfaced as well.
