PLATTE COUNTY – Crews will make the following traffic changes as part of a new bridge construction project at I-29 and NW Old Tiffany Springs Road in Platte County.

Crews will close two lanes of northbound and southbound I-29 between 152 Highway and Tiffany Springs Parkway from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 6 for hauling and erecting crane in the median. If work is not completed on Saturday, crews may close those lanes on Sunday, April 7.

Crews will close two left lanes of northbound and southbound I-29 between Barry Rd. and NW Old Tiffany Springs Rd. from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 6 and again Sunday, April 7 for pavement marking and installing temporary barrier work.

This is all part of a project to build a new bridge at NW Old Tiffany Springs Road over I-29, which will include new sidewalks and walking trail.

This work has the potential to impact KCI travelers. Motorists are encouraged to make the appropriate adjustments to meet departure and arrival times at KCI Airport. All work is weather dependent.
