JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will have various lanes and ramps closed near the Interstate 435 and I-70 this week. The closures are part of the I-435 and I-70 interchange improvement project. This work will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
- On both Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, crews will CLOSE the right lane of the exit ramp from westbound I-70 to northbound I-435. This closure is for fiber splicing.
- Beginning on Tuesday, April 9, until Friday, April 12th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, crews will CLOSE the left lane of the exit ramp from northbound I-435 to Stadium Drive. This closure is for bridge construction.
- Beginning on Tuesday, April 9, through Thursday, April 11, from 7 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following morning, crews will CLOSE the right lane of northbound I-435 from Raytown Road to Stadium. This lane closure is for barrier and shoulder work.
