Crews Will Close Ramps Near I-470 and I-70, and Bowling Road on April 10

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be conducting pavement repairs in the vicinity of the I-470 and I-70 interchange, as well at Bowling Road beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. All work is weather permitting.

  • Beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning, crews will CLOSE the ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-470 for pavement repairs. Motorists will need to find an alternate route during this time.
  • Additionally, crews will be working at Bowlin Road and will CLOSE the on ramp from Bowlin Road to southbound I-470 for a short period of time. The exact time of this work will vary but motorists should expect this ramp to be closed at some point any time between 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, until 5 a.m. the following morning. Motorists must find an alternate route during that time.

Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
