St. Louis Work Zones for April 11-17

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Kingshighway in the city of St. Louis will need to consider an alternate route this weekend as the road will be closed under I-44.

Crews will start closing lanes under the bridge at 7 p.m. Friday, April 12 to demolish the westbound I-44 bridge over Kingshighway.   All lanes on Kingshighway under the bridge will be closed by 8 p.m.

Drivers will be able to get to westbound I-44 from the portion of Kingshighway north of     I-44, and will be able to get from eastbound I-44 to the portion of Kingshighway south of I-44. Kingshighway will reopen under the interstate by 5 a.m. Monday, April 15. One lane will remain closed in each direction around the clock at I-44, so crews can build the new bridge.
