COLE COUNTY – Weather permitting, crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be removing fallen rocks from roadside bluffs along U.S. Route 54 through Cole County next week. The work on the eastbound and westbound sides of the road will close one lane of Route 54 at various times between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, April 15 through Thursday, April 25.
Message boards and signs will warn motorists of the lane closures.
