CRAIG, Mo – Today contractors began working to repair a bridge in Holt County that was struck by a truck last year. Southbound Interstate 29 is narrowed to one lane near mile marker 96 as crews from Comanche Construction, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, repair the bridge on Beagle Road over I-29.
In order to safely repair the structure, crews will close one lane of southbound I-29 during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Work is scheduled to continue into the first part of May.
All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Workers will be working very close to the motoring public. MoDOT encourages all drivers pay close attention, buckle up, and eliminate distractions for their own safety and that of roadway workers.
