Overlay Project to Begin for Missouri Route 94 in Montgomery County

MACON – Weather permitting, on Monday, April 22, an overlay project on Missouri Route 94 in Montgomery County is set to begin. The project goes from 0.20 mile east of Bluffton Road to Missouri Route 19.

“Crews will be resurfacing this area with a one-inch overlay,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga, P.E.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zones while the work is completed. Message boards will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work.

Please obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.

Magruder Construction, of Eolia, MO, was awarded the contract in the amount of $602,706. They have 30 days to complete the project.
