MoDOT Will Close Several Ramps on I-470 Overnight for Paving Operations

LEE’S SUMMIT – The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close the following ramps tonight, Thursday, April 25, on Interstate 470 for paving operations. This will significantly impact traffic traveling through those areas.

 

Closures begin at 7 p.m. and go until 5 a.m., Friday, April 26.

  • Crews will CLOSE all four I-470 ramps at Douglas.
  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from southbound I- 470 to Bowlin Road.
  • Crews will CLOSE the  ramp from Bowlin Road to northbound I-470.

 

This work is part of a 13-mile paving project along I-470 from Raytown Road to 39th Street that began on April 7 that will run mainly nighttime operations.
