Public Invited to Hearing about Baltimore Improvement Project in Kirksville

MACON – Individuals are invited to a public hearing that will discuss a future Baltimore improvement project that will go from just north of Illinois Street to just south of Patterson Street. The project will include resurfacing, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements and drainage improvements

The hearing is planned for Thursday, May 2nd, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Adair County Annex Building, located at 300 North Franklin Street in Kirksville.

“We encourage individuals to come and see the proposed improvements and ask any questions they may have,” said Project Manager Keith Killen, P.E.

Maps and drawings will be available for viewing, and MoDOT representatives will be on hand to explain the project and answer any questions.

This meeting will be an open house style meeting, so individuals may drop by anytime. MoDOT will also be accepting comments on the proposed project.

If you cannot attend the meeting, it will also be offered as a virtual meeting or you will be able to find information about the project online at www.modot.org/northeast.
